This is it… the time has finally come! One more sleep to go until I set off alongside my 32 competitors to take part in the 2020 Vendee Globe.

While the start line will of course look a little different this year (with no members of the public lining the dock), the build up to this race has been just as incredible as I imagined.

It’s been an adventure to get to this point, and I can’t wait to share the next part of the adventure with you. Here’s how you can follow all of the race action and keep up to date:

How to watch the start of the race

The race will start on Sunday 8th November at 8am GMT / 9am CET. It will be broadcast live on my Facebook page and on the Vendee Globe Facebook page in French and English.

If you don’t have Facebook, here are all of the other ways you can tune in live:

How to track my race

I’ll be sending regular updates to my shore team, so they’ll be keeping you updated by sharing videos and blog posts throughout the race across the website and social media. For live updates you can also view the race tracker for real-time location stats.

Throughout the duration of the race Aparito and Smartsheet will also be tracking my wellbeing, including everything from the number of steps I take and heart rate to average sleep and calories burned. You can bookmark the dashboard here.

Thanks to all of you for your support so far. See you soon!
