Being injured or becoming unwell in a remote or unfamiliar environment can be stressful. Small things can escalate quickly if not managed well. Our medical support team, draws on many years of practice in emergency medicine, as well as our experience providing medical support over six years of ocean racing. We will ensure you are fit to sail, train and equip you to cope with all medical emergencies and offer expert remote assistance appropriate to your project.

Pip Hare is an internationally acclaimed sailor, who has climbed the ranks of solo ocean racing, managing her own campaigns and building teams along the way. What sets Pip apart is not only her skill, passion, resilience and determination but the fact that she created her own pathway to the top of one of the world’s toughest sports. Pip has first hand experience of building a project from nothing, she has had her fair share of knock backs and knows well the energy and stresses involved in bringing your ambitions into reality.  Alongside her own career as an Internationally ranked ocean racing sailor, Pip is passionate about helping other people achieve their own goals.

DIRECTOR

As Operations Director of the Pip Hare Ocean Racing team, Lou Adams has overseen all aspects of the teams growth from a small band of friends and volunteers to one of the top ten offshore sailing professional teams in Europe. Lou has real world experience of how to write, refine and deliver funding and delivery strategies, managing commercial partnerships, building and maintaining teams as well as delivering strong returns to sponsors and partners.  She has extensive experience in crisis management, gained through her work in the NHS and from leading an offshore sailing team in high-pressure, unpredictable environments. Lou is a believer in strong relationships making impactful success.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Meticulous and highly experienced, Melanie ensures every detail of a campaign runs seamlessly, delivering and overseeing its effective and efficient operation. With a strong background in operations for non-profits and local authorities, she was instrumental in the success of our four-year program of International Ocean Racing. Melanie will help you to manage deadlines, comply with event regulations, ensure smooth logistics, mange budgets and administration, as well as ensuring sponsors, supporters and fans are kept up to date. Her precision and strategic planning ensure teams stay on track and operate smoothly, no matter the challenge
