Dear Supporters,
You have always been a part of my story, and your unwavering belief in my Vendée Globe journey has driven our team to achieve incredible milestones over the past four years. Your support strengthens me every step of the way as we navigate this challenging but rewarding path.
On 22 December 2024, during my second Vendée Globe race, my mast snapped in two, leaving me stranded in the Southern Ocean—alone and over 800 miles from safety. With no assistance available, I built a makeshift mast and slowly sailed to shore over 13 days. It was an intense challenge, but the hardest part lies ahead: raising the funds to bring my boat back to Europe and finding another title sponsor to continue my campaign.
We need to raise funds to cover shipping costs, and to get back up and running to start qualifying for the next Vendée Globe. Without these funds, our journey could come to an abrupt halt. As our greatest ambassadors of the project, we also need you to tell our story and tell every one about the sponsorship opportunities.
My team doesn’t exist to make a profit—it exists to represent British excellence in ocean racing, inspire others to achieve their goals, and provide opportunities for the next generation in the industry.
We may be down, but this story is far from over, and I can’t wait to share the next chapter with you.
